I took these on my last trip to San Fran, which might be a little too hippie for me in the city, but even as we were getting close to these cliffs, seeing the surfers finishing out their day in the water with a barefoot walk home, holding their boards under one arm, on the verge of sunset, I knew this was a place where I could linger for a little.

Jake Jefferson - Wouldn't It Be Nice (BMore Remix)
Produced by Jake Jefferson a few years back, this track became a staple at our weekly Saturday night, Poplife and it was originally going to be the featured track from the One More Day crew 12" I was to put out on my label, WonderSound. Obviously, that never happened, but damn, it would have been such a good look. Whoops! Legend has it One More Day affiliate Franki Chan, was playing this for a while though.

Induce :: Live @ The Standard :: DJ Mix :: Free Podcast
I've been DJing at the Standard for at least 3 years now on Sunday nights for our LoveLife/Bingo party and have never recorded my sets until this one. Both volumes are ALL VINYL, recorded LIVE. Volume 1 is and eclectic blend of Funk, Jazz and everything in between, while Vol. 2 is more Rock based rhythms, from 60's and psyche, to obscure 80's New Wave. Click the link below to open iTunes.
Enjoy

Fuck Disco
Not really. But this is a three part documentary the BBC did on some of my favorite bands (Neu!, Kraftwerk, Cluster) and the environment that created some of my favorite styles of music, Krautrock. Here's part 1 of 6. Thanks to Small Chizzy for this.
And here is one of my Favorite Neu! songs, "Isi." Click the "divshare" logo to download the MP3.
